Short Description of the Research Project:

How can cities enhance urban green spaces to serve as ecological and climatic refuges for biodiversity and human well-being? This project investigates how unmown meadow refuges, community gardens, and tiny forests support urban wildlife, reduce heat stress, and benefit people. By combining ecology, remote sensing, and social research, it aims to develop practical solutions for more resilient and biodiversity-friendly cities.
