Quintin Kreth's project investigates how geography and internal prestige hierarchies within national research systems shape international scientific research collaborations, especially for middle-prestige and resource-poor institutions often excluded from global research networks.

Hosted by the preeminent MTA "Momentum" ANETI Group, led by Balázs Lengyel, this project employs social network analysis of open-access and bibliometric databases.
