SYnergizing State-of-the-art pulsation Models with Photometric and spectroscopic Observations from Next-generation surveYs (SYMPHONY)
Short Description of the Research Project:
Classical pulsating stars are among the most powerful tracers of stellar populations and cosmic distances, yet a critical gap persists between pulsation models and the data flood arriving from surveys such as OGLE, Gaia, and LSST. Bridging this gap through calibrated models, open tools, and precise distance relations will provide the entire community a solid theoretical foundation for the next generation of stellar astrophysics, galactic archaeology, and precision cosmology.
